"When will Papa be home?" Canada asked.
Louisiana shrugged, tossing a rock across the road. "It should be soon."
Currently the two sat on top of the stone wall by the entrance gate. France said they couldn't go over the wall. He never said anything about sitting on it. Besides they were waiting on him to get home, so it should be fine.
A horse whinnied in the distance. Louisiana and Canada looked up smiling as a white steed and its rider trotted down the road. But what was this? The rider was not their Papa.
Upon closer inspection, the man had short blond hair that was covered by a decorative black hat. His military uniform was blood red and reflected the evening sun, giving him a radiance of power. He sported bright green eyes that were framed by rather thick eyebrows.
He looked over, spotting them on the wall. Louisiana and Canada waved. The man gave them a warm smile and, when his horse reached them, pulled on the reins. The beast stopped, stomping its foot in protest.
"Hello there." He said rather cheerfully.
"Hi." They greeted back.
"Do you two live here?" He asked, gesturing toward the house.
Louisiana eyed him suspiciously. "Yes sir. With our Papa. He should be back any minute now…"
The man laughed recognizing her last statement as a warning. "That's fine. I'll just wait here for him. I take it you're Canada and Louisiana?"
The two blinked, looking at each other.
"How did you know our names?" Canada asked.
"America told me about you two yesterday. I decided while I took my afternoon ride I'd try to find you. I thought maybe you were just some of his imaginary friends."
He said the last bit with a chuckle. Canada and Louisiana looked at each other again.
"Are you…England?" Canada asked cautiously.
The man smiled. "Yes, I am."
Louisiana pointed a finger at him. "Our Papa says you're a bad man."
England looked a bit surprised. "Well, I'm sure he has mistaken me for someone else. Do I look like a bad man to you, poppet?"
Louisiana studied him. "Well… not really…"
A sound interrupted them. The steady clopping of hooves. They looked up to see France and his white horse trotting down the road. He smiled seeing his angels sitting on the wall waiting for him. The smile immediately faded when he saw the red coat beside them. Rage boiled in his stomach. He gave the horse's sides a swift kick causing it to quicken its pace.
"Louisiana! Canada!" He yelled, the wind whipping his blond hair around his face. "Get back up to the house!"
The two territories heeded their Papa's warning and hopped off of the wall, making a dash for the house. France rode until he reached England, giving the horse's reins a fierce pull. The beast skidded to a stop, nearly ramming into England's steed.
"What are you doing here, you damn limey?" France growled.
England smirked at him, a challenging glint in his eye. "Just sight-seeing, frog face. The beautiful country side should be appreciated by a gentleman like myself."
"Tch! Gentleman." France spit. "I know what you were really doing here, chapeau cul. You stay away from my territories."
England pulled on his horse's reins, causing it to circle around France. "Come now, France. You are in no position to be raising children. They need stability. I can promise them that."
"I am stable! I make enough to feed them and myself! With plenty left over!"
England gave a dark chuckle. "It might not be that way for long…"
France gritted his teeth. "Is that a threat, anglais?"
England gave an innocent shrug. "Call it an 'Empire's Intuition'."
He nudged his horse's ribs, clicking his tongue and began trotting away, but managed to throw over his shoulder;
"Keep those two taken care of. I don't want my future territories to be malnourished."
France glared after him, hoping that he felt the cold hatred he was sending his way.

Papa France x Baby Reader (Part 5)
You sighed as you tried to figure out a way to talk with your papa about a really awkward topic: dating. You were now 17 and a lot of the countries had begun to wonder if you thought you were too good to date them. You had to be honest with them, as much as you would love to date a few of them, you had no idea how your papa would react to you asking him since technically all the countries were much older then you for one (though none of the really looked older) and two because you knew he wasn't too crazy for some that had asked.
"____________! Il est temps pour le dîner! (It's dinner time!)," your papa said calling you from downstairs.

Papa!France x Child!Reader [ Why, Papa? ]
You walked home from your school, Junior World Academy, with tears in your eyes. How dare they be so mean! You furiously wiped the tears away from your face with your gloved hand, hating how the fuzzy fabric did nothing but spread the tears across your face. The cold wind took this opportunity to nip at your chubby face, letting the trails of tears across your face freeze. This made you walk even faster in an attempt to get home soon.
When you reached the elegant little house you live in, walking in to see your Papa pacing at the end of the hall, a phone held to his ear.
"What do you mean she isn't there?!" he shouted, a snarl lacing throug

Papa!Italy x Child!Reader - Cuppycake
"Papa!" you yelled out, running up to Feliciano and hugging him as soon as he walked in through the front door.
"Hi (Name)! How's my bambina doing?" he asked you, picking you up and swinging you around.
"I'm great! Zio (Uncle) Lovino was lots of fun!" you cheered.
"Haha well thanks for taking care of her fratello~"
Lovino just answered with a grunting noise and walked out, not bothering to say goodbye but the both of you were already used to it.
"Hey, papa! Papa!" you continued yelling, bouncing in his arms.
"Yes?" he asked, already sitting down on the couch, placing you in his lap.
"Could you sing that song again? Please?" you asked h
